When God created the world, he paused for a moment. He paused long enough to pay special attention to one area. He wanted an area of extra beauty and artistry. As He painted the tapestry with the richest colors, he took care that every stroke of His brush was a good one. He named this area "The Keweenaw.".
When people wonder why anyone would want to live in this cold, northern region, those who have been there just smile and know inside what a gift to the world the Keweenaw peninsula is.
I randomly found a photo album of a Keweenaw local; enjoy these pictures of God's country. Oh how I long for the beauty of the Copper Country, in my heart it is unmatched .
